Of the approximately 10 design-build projects that we have performed, in only four did we have to rely significantly on a subcontractor, and those were due to particular security challenges that required a local firm to effectively implement the project. In the event that we do require a subcontractor, we have well-established relationships with some of Afghanistan’s other high-quality construction firms. Our subcontractor selection process is rigorous, and our project management team closely monitors and manages our subcontractor’s performance in accordance with our proven subcontractor management plan.
